As a highly experienced UK trained Psychotherapist, Diana is qualified to work with children from age 5 through to adolescents and adults, tackling a range of issues from alcohol and drugs to behavioural problems.

Having pursued further training in Child and Adolescent Counselling & Psychotherapy in the USA, Diana also specialises in Eating Disorders and Self-harm, as well as being qualified in Child Play Therapy.

Whole Family Support

We offer group family therapy and, if needed, support for each family member respectively as well as extended family members, if this is felt appropriate.

At times we recommend the 12 Step Fellowships for additional support. Liaising between family and schools is also encouraged, whilst maintaining the confidentially of the individual at all times.

Parent Support & Guidance

After an initial assessment to determine the model of therapy best suited to the child, Diana Sharp Consultancy offers one to one or group counselling.

Displaying empathy and sensitivity, coupled with a sense of focus and firm boundaries, we help and support the child to reach positive decisions which also take into account their environment. We aim to empower the individual to make healthy choices throughout their lives.

Consultant To Independant Schools

Whilst working with the individual and family, Diana Sharp Consultancy offers aid and guidance to the school in how best to support the pupil.

We also recognise that peers and staff involved may be affected by the issue and are in a position to give advice and support at all times.

We provide the school with a twenty-four seven emergency number should any concerns arise whilst working with the individual, and any information shared is held in the strictest confidence.

Child and adolescent psychiatry encompasses the clinical investigation of phenomenology, biologic factors, psychosocial factors, genetic factors, demographic factors, environmental factors, history, and the response to interventions of child and adolescent psychiatric disorders.

Whilst maintaining confidentiality, the sharing of appropriate information is important so that the patient is receiving the best support possible.

We work with a number of private residential treatment centres, not only in the UK but also in the USA and South Africa.

The centres excel in treating behavioural health issues, including treatment for addictions to alcohol, illegal drugs and prescription medication, eating disorders, anxiety and depression and process addictions including sex and love addiction, gambling addiction and codependency.
